| We think it is essential to be part of the local community as there is no better way to give an informed opinion in your area than by being involved at the very heart of the community, with schools, local charities and local events.
We sponsor a variety of schools in London and Surrey for all ages, with our sponsorship we provide a full hands on approach, attend all events and really get involved at the 'grass roots end' helping the 'unsung' volunteers.
We regularly sponsor our local magazines, providing sponsorship and up to date information on what's happening in the sales and lettings market.
Our chosen Charity in recent years is 'Croydon Nightwatch'. This charity was chosen for many reasons, one being that estate agents are usually known for finding homes, not helping the people without one. It would be fair to say no one at Streets Ahead realised what an emotive issue this was until every member of staff spent a night giving food, blankets and toiletries to people who spent their nights in unimaginable conditions.
We are thrilled to say the whole community pulled together with our Blanket Appeal. All our offices are drop off points. A huge thanks goes out to all of the people who kindly donated duvets, blankets and money.
We are delighted to have Nightwatch as our chosen charity, a charity that really changes people’s lives.

At Streets Ahead ‘No mountain is too high!’

We were delighted to sponsor a group of 15 Ex – Wales rugby captains to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. This climb was in aid of Cancer research and raised £1million for further research with lung cancer.
A huge thanks and well done to all involved.
Streets Ahead sponsor the Croydon Marathon

Streets Ahead were thrilled to sponsor the 1st Croydon Marathon with over 350 runners taking part and the winner going through the finishing post in an amazing 1 hour and 15 minutes.
There was great support from the community cheering the runners all along the route. There was also huge appreciation for the Croydon Striders who without them the event wouldn't have been possible.
Bob Hay Managing Director of Streets Ahead quoted: "As well as being the first Croydon Half Marathon, this was the first Marathon we have sponsored. I can't praise the organizer's enough, the whole event was executed so well and it was great to see everybody having a fantastic time, well done to the winners and we look forward to being the sponsor and helping next year" |
